Well, what can I say? It’s sh*t, cr*p, rubbish, lousy, awful, awful, awful, truly awful. Well enough about my singing, and on with the review.

A little something for the oldies here; this game is stuffed full of memorable tunes. I was beside myself being able to belt out Marvin Gaye’s – “Let’s Get it On” - not sure if Mrs T was the happiest of recipients though.

You probably grew up hearing these tracks being played by your parents or on the occasional Levi’s commercial.

So the bit of the review you’re most likely to read, the track listing:-

1 David Ruffin - Put A Little Love In Your Heart
2 Diana Ross & The Supremes - Reflections
3 Jimmy Ruffin - What Becomes Of The Broken Hearted
4 Lionel Richie - My Destiny
5 Martha Reeves & The Vandellas - Jimmy Mack
6 Martha Reeves & The Vandellas - Nowhere To Run
7 Marvin Gaye - Let's Get It On
8 Marvin Gaye - What's Going On?

16 The Commodores - Easy
17 The Contours - Do You Love Me
18 The Four Tops - Reach Out I'll Be There
19 The Isley Brothers - This Old Heart Of Mine (Is Weak For You)
20 The Jackson 5 - ABC
21 The Miracles - Love Machine
22 The Supremes - You Can't Hurry Love
23 The Temptations - Get Ready
24 The Temptations - Papa Was A Rollin' Stone

29 Marvin Gaye - I Heard It Through The Grapevine
30 The Supremes - Stop In The Name Of Love

Respect to Michael Jackson, ABC is bloody hard song to sing and a little kid doing it so darned well makes me feel all the more shameful to be so rubbish at it.

As a newer Singstar title this disk also introduces the feature of voice-controlled track selection. This works pretty well, it’s just a shame you can’t rip all your Singstar DVDs to the hard disk and have access to all your tracks at once. I guess it’s an anti-piracy thing though.

Not much more I can say about this really, except that we did give this disk a good caning at the weekend and it went down well with the 30-40 somethings.

Best Bits

- Rick James's dress sense
Worst Bits

- Video quality – c’mon didn’t they have HD video in the 1950s & 60s?
