Apparently when SingStar fans were asked to decide the musical direction of the next SingStar game, it was inundated with requests for SingStar: Boy Bands Vs Girl Bands, and here it is, so blame them. It's a 30 song battle between some of the worst pop music ever heard, and you'll either love it or hate it (we favour the latter). No idea who chose the list, but there are some ridiculous inclusions (hands up who's ever considered the amazing Supremes, The Shangri Las or disco legends Sister Sledge as "Girl Bands"?), and some notable omissions (no New Kids on the Block, Backstreet Boys or most oddly, Take That). It's disappointing but Sony are so sure this game'll make money that they haven't even bothered to issue any screenshots, and there's not a mention of it on their press site. Ahhh, Whatever - it comes with all the classic SingStar game modes, so for you Singstar nuts out there it's another must-have addition to the series - just don't bring it round my house, or I'll have to say Hold On, Stop! In The Name Of Love and Keep On Movin' or I'll Mmmbop you and Free Up Your Mind!
